Today Matt and I took Mark and Makenna to see Santa. Mark was all excited to ask him for "A Fireman's hose and a Fireman's mask." When we pulled up to the mall, Mark asked, "Are we at the North Pole now?" It was so funny. We got inside the mall and he sat on his lap and asked him for what he wanted and was smiling at first. Makenna even smiled before she started to freak out. Then she was done and Santa gave them each some Reindeer Antler headbands to wear. Mark got the saddest look on his face and almost started to cry. When Matt asked him what was wrong, he said trying not to cry, "Santa didn't give me my fireman hose and mask." Matt then had to explain to him that he would bring it to him on Christmas morning not today. So then he was okay. Whew...what an adventure that was!
