Christmas with the Johnson's

Mark Jammin on his new Electric Guitar

Singing us a song while Jammin on the guitar

Receiving all of her messages from the Princesses

Getting Ready to open her present

This ball may be pink, but I've got my game face on!

Here are some pictures of our Christmas over at Craig and Judy's house. Makenna was all excited to get a Disney Princess phone and Mark's big gifts were a baseball set with bases and everything, and of course his brand new Les Paul Electric Guitar. He was thrilled and couldn't stop playing it. They had a great time!

Christmas Morning

"Hold on I have another call"

Mark putting out the fire

Mark was all excited Christmas morning. After reminding him of what day it was, he was pumped to run downstairs. We unfortunately had to wake up Makenna b/c she wasn't awake yet and we wanted both of them to go down together. Mark was ecstatic about his fireman hose and fireman mask, but wondered where his firetruck was. Every present he opened he said, "Maybe this is my fire truck." (But it wasn't. My mom had bought him one so we didn't and he only gave us 2 days notice on that one!) But both Mark and Makenna had a great time opening thier gifts. Makenna ran up to her baby and said, "Baby, Mine!" When Matt asked her who brought her that baby doll, she replied with, "Santa." It was too cute. They had a great morning at our house and then we headed over to Matt's parent's house for Christmas over there. It was a busy morning, but we had such a great time!

Getting Ready for Santa

Here is a video of Mark getting ready for Santa to come. He put out some carrots for the Reindeer and cookies for Santa and milk for both of them. Pay attention to Mark the first time you watch the video as you normally would. Then the second time you watch the video you have to keep watching Makenna the whole time in the backround after Mark is done putting the carrots on the plate. Apparantly we have a little Dare Devil on our hands that we were completely unaware of!!! Also included is a picture of our tree with the kids presents. The unwrapped gifts are the one's from "Santa." Enjoy! (Oh, also before you watch the video, I suggest you go to the bathroom first and have a box of tissues handy to wipe the tears from your eyes from crying after laughing so hard. Well atleast that's what I had to do....call me a bad parent...that's okay with me!)

Christmas Eve

Wow-Sorry it's been so long since I have updated this, but it was one hectic Christmas Season this year. We were blessed with spending time with good friends from out of town, family near by, and family miles away. We couldn't have asked for a better time. Which meant that I didn't have time for updating the blog, but I did have the time to take almost 1,000 pictures. It may take me a little while to get through all of them, and you may be looking at Xmas pictures and videos until Valentine's day, but just bare with me. I was very excited to get a new camera for Christmas from my parents so I have been trying to figure everything out on it as well. So here are pictures from Christmas Eve before we went to church at Craig and Judy's house. Enjoy!

Never Grow Up

Here is a picture of Matthew and I with Santa. You're never to old to tell Santa what you want for Christmas. Now, he may not bring you that year supply of Mortgage payments, but it doesn't hurt to ask... =)

Driving Miss Kenna

On the way to the Christmas party we stopped for Matt and Mark to get their hair cut. Makenna and I decided to stay in the car and hangout instead of going in. Of course she couldn't sit still so I let her practice driving. I figured how many people would really be in a shopping center around Christmas time...I mean, what would it really hurt? =) Anyways, she has a great time pretending. I did at one point have to shut the car off b/c I really was afraid she would put it into reverse. Other than that she had a lot of fun!

Ladies Man

Mark and Adison
Mark and Madelin

Mark was quite the ladies man at the Christmas party. He was spending all if his time with Adison and Madelin. They all had a great time together!

You better watch out Santa!

Not so happy to be sitting with Santa!
Mark is happy to be giving his present requests

Waiting in line to visit with Santa

So happy together sitting in Santa's sleigh without Santa

Santa's helper

Here is Mark and Makenna with Santa. Like I said before, Makenna's not really all about Santa this year...maybe next year. Mark was fine though and told him about the Fireman hose and mask that he wants santa to bring him. He was excited to get a present after he was done talking to him too.

Christmas Kisses

Pucker Up!

Wait for it...

Gottcha!

We had my work Christmas party this past weekend. It was a lot of fun to hang out with friends away from the work environment. Of course the kids had a great time. They brought in a Santa and all the kids got to visit with him. Makenna wouldn't go near him, but she really enjoyed spending her time with Caden and Ryan (Jill's son and husband). She loved giving them hugs and kisses. She would run as fast as she could to Ryan when she realized she wasn't with him. It was too cute. Here are some pictures of her loving on Caden. She's such a sweetie!

Yet Another Race

Here is another Race between Mark and Makenna around the Island. (Mark didn't have a shirt on b/c he was responsible and took it off b/c it was white and he was eating spaghetti for dinner. He put it on the ground and when Makenna didn't want hers anymore she flung it on the ground on top of his shirt. He was not too happy to be w/out a shirt) But anyway, Makenna was actually winning this race for a little while until Mark suddenly took the lead. It's all a mystery considering it happened behind the island where we couldn't see what was going on! Regardless, Makenna had a great time!

Rudoloph

When we went to visit Santa he gave the kids some Reindeer ears. Mark and Makenna had them on for a split second the other day and I managed to quickly get their picture. Here they are as Rudolph (according to Mark).

Cuddle Bear

Here is Makenna cuddling up to Mark's bear. She can just be the sweetest girl ever! She loves to give her stuffed animals and baby dolls hugs and kisses. We were at church on Sunday and she walked up to this girl and said, "hug" and gave the girl a hug. The girl (who was probably 8 or so) looked like she was thinking...what the heck is going on here? =)

Getting Ready for Christmas...

Brotherly Love
Beautiful Blue Eyed Girl

Saying "Cheese!"

Sorry about the shadow. I was still learning to use the new camera.

Pretty Girl

Handsome boy
Still loves to Rock

Mark and Makenna are definitely getting ready for Christmas. I have been dressing them in Christmas type outfits almost everyday, we are singing Christmas songs, decorating the tree, etc. This particular day, they were both somewhat cooperating and I got some really good pictures of them in front of the tree. Enjoy!

Let's Go Sledding!!!

Matthew and I took Mark and Makenna sledding on the hill in our backyard and of course they didn't want to walk so Matthew pulled them there.

Mark's little helper...

"Cheese!"
Caught Red Handed (taking the ornament off the tree!)

She continued to take them off and lined them up. She then tried to put them back into the package!

This was actually getting ready to put one on
Makenna had a really good time helping Mark decorate his tree too. However, I think she had more fun un-decorating it. She has this obsession lately with collecting everything off of the trees, putting it in a pile or if she can find one, a box, and then once she gets it all in there, she violently dumps it all out! She thinks it is the greatest thing ever. I don't think we do though!
