Matthew and I couldn't resist buying this Steelers shirt for my dad!

I missed my family so much after seeing them at Thanksgiving that we decided to make a short trip in for a small Christmas celebration. I never see my Aunt, Uncle, and cousins from Eastern Pennsylvania, so it was nice to spend some time with them too. Mark and Makenna loved seeing Madison and Tyler again, but were happy to see Bryce too. Mark loved playing Wii with Bryce and Jenn as well as playing with Tyler. He is just so cute with Tyler. He tried to play cars with him, and this morning he asked Tyler if he wanted to build blocks with him, so Tyler and Mark sat down and they built block towers. It was so sweet. Makenna loves on him too, giving him hugs and kisses, but she was also all about Grandpa H and Uncle Ryan. Everytime once in a while, she would just go over and hug my brother. She sure is Uncle Ryan's Girl. It was just a great visit!

Happy 4th Birthday Caden!

So Cute!
Blowing out the birthday candles

Giving Caden his gift...so cute together!

Adison reading the cards to Caden

An Adidas Warm Up...Yeah!

Cars Books...Even Better!

The reason we were at Jill's house last weekend was to celebrate Caden's birthday, which is actually today, but since we weren't able to come to his party, we celebrated early. Jill made us the best Lasagna I have ever had in my entire life for lunch with gluten free noodles for me. :) She even made another birthday cake for him so Mark and Makenna could have cake and ice cream with him too. It was super nice. Mark and Makenna each made him a homemade card, which they all thought that Makenna's card was Mark's because the handwriting was better on it! And she wrote it all by herself! We have been trying to work with Mark in taking more time to write because he rushes through everything and it looks so sloppy. Anyway, they had a great day celebrating Caden's 4th Birthday. It's still hard to believe he's just now turning 4. I feel like he is always the same age as Makenna as soon as she has her birthday, when really they are 7 months apart. I'm just happy they all get along so well. Their favorite thing to do together is have dance parties. Jill pumps up the music and they all start breaking down. It's too funny.

Good Times...Good Friends

So Sweet Together Sometimes

Young pile on Old!
The "Who's Taller" Pic

Pile on Adie!

Pile On Makenna!

Being Silly!

Here are some pictures of Mark and Makenna with Adison and Caden. They love spending time with them. I hope that Adison and Caden will always be some of Mark and Makenna's best friends. They have so much fun together. They did get a little roudy, but that's to be expected when they only get to see each other every so often now. It was a great day!

Church Christmas Program

Love.
Sweet.
Beauty.

Mark and Makenna have both been in Choir this year for Church. When we signed Mark up at the beginning of the year, Makenna of course didn't want to be left out and asked the Choir teacher if she could be in it too. She said next year at first, and then told Makenna if she could be good and listen that she would let her be in it. Makenna is extremely well behaved in there so she has been able to stay in it the whole time so far. Well, for the past few weeks they have been advertising the Christmas Program, "Christmas From Scratch." Mark and Makenna have been pumped for their Choir performance, so Makenna asked me to make her fancy on Sunday, which I did. She looked beautiful, and when I told her that she said, "I know Mom. Everyone at Church is going to say I look Gorgeous." You can't call her modest. :) Anyway, they went to Sunday School, then to Choir Practice, so Matt and I had our seats all ready in Church so I could hopefully take some videos, when all of a sudden, the person in charge of Sunday School brings Makenna to me and says, "This program is for students grades K-5th, so she can't be in it. I was in shock. Of course, Makenna starts crying. I had to take her out of church because the service had started and it was a huge distraction. So I just decided I was going to leave, so I grabbed our coats and headed out. I was in the Library trying to calm down my hysterical little girl, when the Choir Teacher walked by. I told her she was upset because she thought since she was in choir she would be in the performance. She said to her, "Makenna, how about you be my helper today. Can you do that?" Makenna shook her head yes and they went to get her a choir robe. Thank goodness for her. So after the show started and the choir walked in, all they were doing was sitting in chairs on the right of the stage. You are telling me it was really a big deal that Makenna sit there with the other choir kids? No, it wasn't. I could not believe that they had done that to her. I am just glad that it all worked out in the end. I would have had one sad girl all day. However, Mark and Makenna were in the front row and it was very hard for me to get video of the songs, but even when I managed to, they looked so tired and distracted, they barely sang. Oh well. There's always next time. Enjoy!

Makenna was so happy that Grandma and Grandpa J and Aunt Jamie came to see her show. Her and Nora's sister, Ava are best buddies at school. They are attached at the hip. They are so sweet to each other. I'm so glad that she has such a good friend!

Makenna Christmas Program

Makenna's last day of Pre-School before Christmas Break was Friday. They performed a Christmas Program where they sang lots of songs for us. It was so cute and she was so happy. Not only did Matt and I come, but Grandma and Grandpa J came, and Aunt Jamie surprised her too. She was very excited!

BIG Present

Mark and Makenna were thrilled with this present from all of their Aunts and Uncles on the Johnson side. Thank you again to Aunt Cebra, Uncle Mike, Aunt Myrna, Uncle Jeff, Uncle Carl, Uncle Curt, and Aunt Roberta. They will have endless days of fun with this! The best part was that Aunt Cebra told Mark all she got him was a Yoga Mat and after they saw this, Mark still asked, "But where is my Yoga Mat?" It was too funny! Thanks SO Much again!
