Everyone had a great time at Medieval Times in Schaumberg. This was Mark's 4th time seeing it, and he still loved every second of it. He even could repeat some of the words because they are the same as the DVD that he watches all the time. Everyone had a great time cheering on our Yellow Knight even though he didn't win. Madison was even given a special banner to wear from our Knight. She was thrilled, but Makenna was very upset that she wasn't given one. She is going through a stage right now that she thinks whenever anyone is given anything she should get it too. Mark got a birthday card in the mail today and she was upset she didn't get a card. Oh to be 4 again. It was still a great family night!

Since Bethany and her family were in Serbia for Madison, Makenna, and Tyler's Birthday's this year, we decided to have a big celebration for all 4 of their Birthday's when they were in town for Mark's birthday. We went up to Medieval Times on Sunday night and did Lego Land on Monday morning. They had a blast. Bethany thought it would be cool to get a Medieval Castle Cake so I went to Designer Desserts and ordered one. Although, the cakes are costly from there, it turned out looking amazing and the kids were so happy with it, so that was all that really mattered in the end. We had such a great weekend celebrating everyone's birthday's!

We all went to the Beach the day after Mark's birthday. It is our annual tradition. We we lucky that the weather was absolutely perfect. Mark, Madison, and Makenna had a great time jumping waves, going out into the Lake with Grandma H, and playing in the sand. Tyler wasn't so sure of the sand so he hung out on the blanket with me. It was really hard for me to walk in the sand with my hurt quad/knee so I was happy to stay with Tyler. They all had a great time though. I love the Beach!

Last week my family was in town from Pennsylvania and Virginia for Mark's Birthday. It was so great to see everyone, and to have everyone out here. We always miss them so much. Mark and Makenna had a blast seeing all of them and spending time with them. We went to Medieval times on Sunday and Lego Land on Monday and they loved it all. We even got to build Lego's together as a family when we got back home. It was so nice having family time!

I can hardly believe that Mark is 6 already. The years are just flying by. He just had his Kindergarten physical and checked out great. He wanted to go to Zao Island on his Birthday, so we all went. The kids played in the Arcade, rode Go-Carts, and Madison and Makenna went down the big blow up slide they had. It was so hot, that we decided to come home and go swimming. Then, we had Mark's favorite dinner, Circle Noodles (Tortellini), and Judy made a nice chocolate star cake for him. It was a very nice day!

Mark had a great time at his 6th Birthday party last weekend. Since it's always so hot on his birthday we decided to have another pool party this year. We added water balloons and water guns too, which made the kids very happy. We also had the Cars Waterslide up again, which was a huge hit as well. They all had a blast!

Matthew participated in the Mudathlon today a few miles away from our house. It was a lot of fun watching him and his few friends "run" it. They had a GREAT Time!
