Hula-Hoop Fun

Spirit Fingers!!! =)
Spinning around
All Done!

If you ever get a chance to watch Mark and Makenna with a Hula-Hoop I strongly reccommend it. It is one of the funniest things I have ever seen. Mark gets this cheesy look on his face and puts his hands up and waves them back and forth. Makenna just wants to be able to do it like Mark. It's just one of the most amusing things ever.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Mr. Ladies Man
He looks sooo skinny in this picture...I mean he is so skinny, but here it just looks funny.

My Little Valentine

We got a smile...yeah!

The only picture of the 2 of them together

Well, Mark and I did our best. We got Makenna to smile for at least a couple pictures. I asked them if they wanted to take a picture for Valentine's day and Mark (my cooperative little man) said, "Sure Mom." But Makenna threw herself on the floor kicking and screaming. Oh, I know what you are thinking...not sweet little Makenna? Yes...fiesty little Makenna. The other pictures I got were of her attitude so I just decided for the love of today, we would leave those out and try to focus on the positive side! Hope everyone has a GREAT and LOVE filled day!

Snow Day=Shoveling Day

Mark - So happy to help
Makenna throwing snow off of her shovel
Mark still all smiles...
Makenna shoveling snow INTO the garage...Daddy would NOT be pleased!

Mark trying to handle the big snow on his shovel

Makenna still happy and helpful

When I told Mark and Makenna on Wednesday that we had to shovel the driveway in order to leave our house that day they were both all about it. They grabbed their snowsuits and headed for the door even before I could get my gear on. Well, these smiles lasted about 10 or 20 minutes. This was of course the day that school was canceled because of the high winds and blowing snow. Then when Makenna's gloves came off, it was definitely over. I put a movie on for them in the house and continued to shovel for 2 hours. I finally was able to get out and get to work, but it was for sure a hard morning!

ATTITUDE!

Well if you can remember back a couple years I used to talk about my sweet little girl...I think I referred to her as my "princess." Now if you ask her what Daddy calls her she will respond with "Kenna Monster." And that is the truth. She is now my Fiesty little girl who has got Attitude that she loves to throw around. She has these facial expressions that will just show you every ounce of how she is feeling at the moment. Don't get me wrong, I still have my sweet girl every now and then...it's just few and far between these days. =(

Dancing King

He is our little Techo dancer. Maybe someday he'll be on "So You Think You Can Dance!" Just ignore the growling part...

Now Dancing with his Peter Pan sword. It's kinda scary, but sooo funny too.

Story Time with Grandpa H

Makenna with Grandpa H
My parents were here all last week and Mark and Makenna just loved spending time with them. Makenna's favorite thing to do was read books with them. When she would wake up in the morning she would ask for Grandpa and then I could hear her ask him to read her a book. This particular book was a seek and find princess book that she really enjoyed. My dad would go through and ask her where the items were and then she would go through and ask him and he would have to point them out to her. It was too funny.

Handsome Mark

Mark had to get his haircut the other day and he was so good. He just sits there now and I can just sit to the side and watch Makenna. The hairdresser said to him, "Mark you are doing so good." To which he looked over at me and said, "Mom, I'm doing so good." He was so proud. He told her that he wanted his hair spiked up when she was done so that's what he got. I thought he just looked so cute and handsome. My little boy is growing up so fast!

The Cowgirl and The Pirate

Cowgirl riding her horse
Ride Em Cowgirl!
Not so scarvy Pirate
Captain Hook

I know, I know...I haven't updated in quite some time. I went back to work a few weeks ago after my shoulder surgery and haven't had a lot of free time. I worked 40 hours last week and with trying to workout a lot, I am exhausted by night time and I just go to bed. So here are some pictures from a couple weeks ago when Makenna wanted to dress up as a Cowgirl and Mark wanted to dress up as Captain Hook/Pirate. They have so much fun dressing up together.
