My sister had my new nephew, Jackson Douglas, on Wednesday, January 18th at 9:36am and he only weighed 5 lbs 12 oz and was a mere 18 inches long. He is such a little peanut! He is just so adorable. I was in training all last week in Ohio for work, so on Saturday afternoon when I finally got out, I drove straight to Pennsylvania to see Bethany, Doug, Madison, Tyler and Jackson. I was so excited to meet Jackson, but also happy to spend some time with Madison and Tyler too. Madison and I rarely get one-on-one time since she is usually playing with Mark and Makenna, so it was a lot of fun to have Madison/Aunt Ashlee time. I told her that if she practiced her minute math, that we would have a fun pajama dance party so we did just that, and we were laughing so hard the whole time. I taught Madison some funny dance moves, and even had my mom and sister laughing hysterically. I told her anytime she has a bad day or is sad, just think of Aunt Ashlee's funny dances. :) Also, Tyler has changed so much in the past month since I saw him at Christmas. He is so funny. He thinks everything sneaky is hilarious and he has this evil laugh. It's just too cute. I loved getting him in the morning from his crib when he would wake up because he's just so cuddly. It was so great getting to see all of them and spend time with them. It was also nice to be able to spend some time with my parents on Sunday as well. I can't wait until the next time we get to spend time together!

My New Niece

My best friend Jamie had her baby on the afternoon of January 3rd. We all thought she was having a boy, but she surprised us all and it was a girl. So Madelyn Marie has entered the world and she is so precious. She is so beautiful and so sweet. I had a chance to go visit Jamie, Ryan, and Madelyn the day after they came home from the hospital up in Illinois at Ryan's parents house. I was in heaven. Getting to spend time with Jamie and Madelyn was awesome. I can't wait to spend more time with them until Jamie goes back to Mexico, and that will be a sad day for us all. Enjoy my new sweet niece!

After taking Makenna's picture, Mark got home from school and I got them to sit down for 2 seconds to get their picture together. It was a miracle, but I got it, and I love it. It will probably be one of my all time favorites.

Makenna and I had a girls day the other day, where I took her out to lunch, we came home, did our nails, hair and then "makeup." It was so fun to be able to spend the day with just the two of us. After we were all done, I wanted to take her picture because she looked so cute, and inside the house just wasn't working, so since it was such a nice day out, we went onto the front porch. I couldn't believe how the sun was hitting her blue eyes. She looked so gorgeous. I couldn't stop taking her picture. Enjoy my Beautiful Blue-Eyed Girl!

New Years Eve Celebration

Matt and I were going to his friend's house for New Years Eve, so his parents agreed to watch Mark and Makenna for us. Judy bought all sorts of fun New Years stuff, hats, blowers, etc... They had a great time. They had a dance party and even took some pictures for me. It was really nice of them. Matthew and I had a really fun night too. We hope 2012 has some better luck for me!
