The Concert Continues

Here is another picture of Mark & Madison enjoying mark's present and a video of Mark singing Away In A Manger with his Grandma H.

What's Going On?

I'm sure Makenna wonders that on a daily basis. Especially when she is trying to sleep in the car and Mark keeps poking her or when she finally gets the toy she want and Mark decides that would be the perfect time to move it. In this instance, Madison was loving on Makenna and just couldn't give enough hugs and kisses while Makenna had her eye on a toy that she wanted.

Presents for Makenna

Here is Makenna opening presents with her Grandpa H. She got her own Terrible Towel from her Uncle Ryan (Go Steelers!), some clothes, and some toys. Although, it seemed like the wrapping paper was the biggest hit with her.

Rock & Roll

Here is Mark with the present he received from Grandma & Grandpa H. Once he opened it, he spent the rest of the weekend playing the instruments or singing. He's a future Rock Star! As you can see in the pictures, it was fun for all!

Having Fun

Here is Makenna having fun with a toy at Bethany's house this past weekend.

So Pretty

I just look at Makenna everyday and think just how pretty she is...and just how cute she looks in hats! I know...I'm such a mom!

A Forward or a Goalie?

Mark was playing soccer with me a few weeks ago and he kept throwing the ball in and then diving on it. In this particular video he kicked the ball and then dove on it. It was so funny. I don't know what he's going to be, but for right now he loves playing soccer. He is also so good at throwing the ball in. He does better than some of my JV girls did! Enjoy!

Santa Baby

Here are some pictures of Mark and Makenna with Santa. Makenna wasn't scared at all and Mark asked Santa for a Candy Cane! So he gave him one. He also liked shaking the jingle bells and both of them liked sitting in his sleigh.

My Prince & Princess

Here are some pictures of Mark and Makenna all dressed up. I think they look like the perfect Prince and Princess!

December Beach Bums

Here are some pictures of Mark and Makenna swimming from this past weekend. It was Makenna's first time in a pool and she was pretty unsure at first, but then did okay. She clung to Matthew and I for dear life most of the time, but I think overall enjoyed herself. Mark of course had a blast and spent his time jumping in. He would stand on the edge and say, "One, Two, Three, Ready or not, here I come jumping in the pool." And while he said this he would move his arms around like he was swimming. It was hilarious. He was shaking because he was so cold and didn't want to leave. We are just getting them ready for our trip to Wisonsin Dells next month!

Tractor Tow

Mark needed to call in a tow truck to pull out his Tractor today after he decided to try to ride it through the 6 inches of snow we got. He got a little frustrated when it got stuck. After that he just wanted to go inside. He definitely started to master the pout today also. I asked him earlier in the day if he wanted to go outside with me and he said no. I said fine that I guess I will go out by myself. He then stuck out his lip and proceeded to put his head under a pillow. How dramatic his life has become! I told Matthew he must have learned it from him!

Away in a Manger

Here is a video of Mark singing "Away in a Manger" with my mom from this past weekend. He loved singing it and doing the hand motions along with it. He also loved having my mom hold him while looking at my Nativity so he could point out Baby Jesus, Joseph, and Mary. It amazes me how fast he learns things. I wish I had the memory he has! Sometimes I really do think he took mine when I was pregnant with him!

Lion Heads

Matthew went to Vegas last weekend for his best friend Craig's bachelor party and this is what he brought Mark home- a Lion Head! Mark asolutely loves it! He puts it on and runs at you saying "ROAR!" and then he tells you to run if you don't! He is having a great time with it and he even let Makenna try it on! She didn't seem so sure of it!

Baby's first Christmas

Here are some pictures of Makenna in her "Baby's first Christmas" Santa Hat. I think she would make a great Santa's helper!

HO HO HO!

Here are some pictures that I took of Mark and Makenna that I just love. They are both in their Santa outfits. Mark kept saying, "Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas!" I think this is definitely going to be a fun year with him!
Makenna started making sounds today that were almost getting towards word sounds. She started with the ma ma da da, but of course not really saying mama or dada. It was very exciting though!

Christmas Time

Mark was helping me decorate the tree to other day with his baby's first christmas ornaments. He actually did a pretty good job! It's amazing to think that this is his third Christmas tree.
Then he found Matthew's hat and put it on. I thought he looked so cute. I think when he wears a hat like that you can tell just how much he looks like my brother and uncle. It's crazy!

Makenna's First Tree

Here are some pictures of Makenna in front of her very first Christmas tree. I was so excited to get pictures of her and since Dec. 1st is tomorrow, I thought it was time to post these. She is actually really sick today with the stomach flu. I hope she feels better soon...I hate seeing her miserable!

Makenna 6 Months

I can't believe it has been 6 months already! Time is just flying with our little girl. She is getting so big. She goes in for her 6 month check up tomorrow and I just know she is going to chunk up that scale. I'm sure the doctor will again accuse me of overfeeding her, but the girl just loves to eat! She is starting to "talk" more and more and I am pretty sure she will be a talker like her brother and father. She still loves to play on her stomach, but she will sit up and play for a long time now. As you can see her hair has basically all fallen out and as of right now it is coming in blonde. We will see as Mark's did the same thing and we all know how that turned out. She has also really started to develop her personality, which unfortuately is like her mother's. She can be so sweet one minute and then totally fiesty the next. She definitely knows what she wants and will fight to get it. She also loves to watch Mark play and jump around and is constantly laughing at him. She loves to just watch everything and take it all in. She is our little sweetheart and we feel so blessed everyday.

Peas Please!

Last night we fed Makenna food for the first time. We gave her peas and at first she was eating them fine and then she started making a face and shaking her head but then she would open her mouth again for more. I don't think they are going to be her favorite food, but I think she was just so happy to be eating something besides oatmeal!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a very happy Thanksgiving at Matthew's parent's house. Mark played with all of the other kids and Makenna loved being held by everyone. We were all stuffed and tired by the end of the day!

Ryan's Girl

When my brother was in town for Makenna's baptism, he kept saying the Makenna was "his girl." She loved being held by him and was always so good for him. I hope that she continues this with him for a long time. I thought these two pictures of them together were great!
