Peter Pan and Tinkerbell

I took pictures of Mark and Makenna on Sunday in their Halloween Costumes b/c it was a beautiful day outside and we weren't sure if we would have any more chances to take them. So each day this week leading up to Halloween I will try to post a new picture of each of them in their costumes or of them together. Happy Early Halloween!!!

Church Halloween Party

We took Mark and Makenna to our Church Halloween Party on Saturday afternoon. They had a great time painting pumpkins and playing pin the nose on the pumpkin! We finished the evening with a Hayride at Rogers Lakewood Park, which the kids absolutely loved. They had a great time throwing hay at each other and Makenna loved burying herself in hay! It was a great afternoon! We had bought Makenna a Little Red Riding Hood costume last year after Halloween pretty cheap and thought we would put that on her for the party since she is going to be Tinkerbell for Trick or Treating. We had bought a 2T/3T and thank goodness this was only for Church. It barely covered her bottom! I couldn't believe it! I said it looked more like an 18-24 Months! Good thing we have a different costume for this weekend! I had gotten Mark a Mr. Incredible Costume 2 yrs ago after Halloween and he found it and wanted to be Mr. Incredible for the Church party. I didn't even realize that they would be wearing the same color, but it really worked out. Oh, and if you are wondering where Makenna got her black eye, that came from her loving brother throwing a sword at her earlier in the day (while I was at work). Nice, huh. But anyway, they both had a great time.

County Line Orchard
Last Sunday Matthew and I took Mark and Makenna to County Line Orchard. They had a blast running around all of the pumpkins and trying to pick them up. They probably had the most fun in the petting zoo area though. They both liked petting all of the baby bunnies (which Matt tried to get me to take one home with us!) and they loved feeding the goats. They also got to see thousands of bees (AHHH!) which I obviously did not like being so allergic to them. Mark and Makenna got to ride the Moo Choo train which they both really liked too. It was a great day and the first decent day in a while that we could be outside enjoying ourselves!
