Well, hopefully soon I will be posting about Mark's 1st Tooth Lost, but for now, we still have this one loose tooth. Most kids his age have already lost a couple if not more teeth, but Mark is still working on the one. He can push it forward with his tongue and it's almost out, but it's still hanging in there. You can see the gap in his teeth now. It should be any day now...

Makenna took a Field Trip with her class to the Dance Studio in town this past week. I wasn't able to go so I sent Matthew with the camera again. When she was getting dressed in the morning she insisted on wearing her ballerina outfit that Grandma J got her that also came with an outfit for her American Girl Doll, Maya. She was so excited to get dressed and to put Maya's outfit on as well. She had a really good time on her field trip too and loved running and dancing around.

Here is a video of Makenna and her class using the Parachute to make "popcorn." She had a great time. Matt also got another friend of Makenna's on video b/c her mom forgot her camera. Enjoy!

Mohawk

For some reason Mark has been wanting to have a Mohawk. Well, there was a kid in his class that apparently got lice, so I told Matthew to shave his head, just to be on the safe side. Mark talked him into giving him a mohawk. He ran up the stairs so fast, and said, "Mom, look! Can I keep it?!" I immediately said, "NO." So Matthew shaved the rest off, but I did get one picture before he did. Don't worry, Mark never got lice, but I wanted to be able to see better if he did. He is really sad and doesn't like his new haircut, and neither do I, but we told him not to worry, that it would grow back. He is hoping it grows back by school pictures on the 20th b/c he wants to have "spikey" hair for his picture. :)

Well...we all know the Steelers have had a rough year so far... a little every other weekend type thing, but we still support our team no matter what. Here are Mark and Makenna in their Steelers gear from a couple weeks ago. (The Steelers did actually win this game) :) I took these pictures on my phone, so they're not the best quality...sorry.

Aunt Jamie

Mark and Makenna have loved having their Aunt Jamie in town this past couple weeks! Jamie even watched Makenna for me last Monday while I was at work. She went with me to pick her up at school, then took her to two different parks, they ate lunch, they went to visit Jamie's mom at work, and went to mail cards at the post office, where Makenna helped Jamie put on most of the stamps. I think they wore each other out... Makenna fell asleep in the car on the way home, and Jamie said she needed to rest after their day together too. I was so happy they got to spend time together though! :)

Cuddles with Grandpa

My parents were just in town for the weekend, and Mark and Makenna were loving every second of it. Mark got to spend all day with my dad on Saturday, where they probably played every game in the house, fought with swords, and built lego towers. Makenna went with my mom and I to Merrillville on a girls shopping day. Then yesterday, my parents stayed an extra day so that they could watch Makenna while Matt and I worked and Mark was at school. They took walks outside, rode bikes, and Makenna rode her 4 Runner. Makenna loves to read books with Grandma H and loves to cuddle up with her Grandpa H. They had a great time this weekend!

My best friend Jamie is in town for a couple weeks visiting from Vera Cruz, Mexico. She is having a baby in January so we have had lots of fun having baby showers for her. Here are some pictures of us at her shower in IL and her shower here at my house. Doesn't her baby bump just look so cute?!?!?!
