We had our Annual Duneland Health and Wellness Christmas Party on Saturday night. The kids had a great time seeing Adison and Caden and even were a part of a 12 days of christmas song that some of our employees performed. The finished off the night by seeing Santa and telling him what they wanted for Christmas. Mark said Star Wars stuff and Makenna wants a police girl barbie. It should be a fun christmas!

Naughty or Nice?

Makenna has a few Christmas outfits and since we are in the season I thought it was the perfect time to start putting them on her. This particular day she asked what her shirt said. I told her it said, "I'm On the Nice List." She said, "I'm on the nice list....I don't think so." It was too funny. I said, Oh, you're not on the nice list...to which she ran up to Matt and gave him a hug. I guess she knows that if she's not nice to people...mainly Matt...then Santa won't bring her any gifts. It was funny.

This was Mark after he decorated his tree. It was only missing his star on the top. I found it later in a tote and put it on. He was happy to have a tree topper too, just like Makenna.

HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY MATTHEW!

Today is Matt's 30th Birthday! Thank goodness he has FINALLY joined my 30 club! I was so tired of listening to how he was still in his 20's and me in my 30's. Whenever we would go out he would ask the waiter or whoever where ever we were if they had a senior discount for me! I'm so happy now that we're the same age again! Only 10 more years till I have to go through that again! I hope he has a Happy Day!

2 Peas in a Pod

Lately Mark and Makenna have been 2 peas in a pod. They do everything together and Makenna has become very attached to Mark. She wants to be with him all the time and wants him to play with her or she will do whatever he wants to do. They have been playing Zingo still every chance they get, but also Makenna has talked Mark into playing with her baby dolls. They also still enjoy building "towers" together with the lego table. They get along pretty well most of the time, which has benefited us lately b/c they have stayed home with Matt as he works from home and they don't even bother him unless it's lunch or dinner time. But they both still reach their peak every now and then when they need a break and some quiet time. That's when the TV comes into play. You can tell they come from the same gene pool b/c they always watch TV together like this. It was too funny the other day so I had to grab a quick pic!
