A Knight's Tale

Bethany found this Knight's costume at Gymboree and Mark just had to have it. He loves it so much and asks to put it on everyday. For a while the Sword was in the mail and everyday he would run out to the mailbox and ask if it came yet. Well, it came in last week and he has already been using it. He's still all about sword fighting and being a Knight. I guess we'll see how long this phase lasts!

Church Picnic

We had our Annual Church Picnic this past weekend and Mark and Makenna had a blast. Makenna was enjoying a game of bean bag toss while Mark enjoyed playing tug of war. Call me crazy, but as you can see in the picture, I don't think he was pulling his weight!

Re-Mix

Here is Mark singing "Jesus Loves the Little Children." He does pretty good at first, but then he busts into his own little re-mix. I could teach him the words, but he would still do it his own way so it's just much funnier this way!

Peek-A-Boo

Makenna loves playing Peek-A-Boo now. She covers her face and when she pulls them away she says, Boo! She also loves playing on the stairs. She usually loves it because she can see into Matthew's office and says, "Hi, Dad." This particular moment, she was actually playing with me. She thought it was so funny. I just love her smile.

Looking Cute

Here are some pictures of Mark looking Cute. Now to try to get him to smile I have to say anything that has the word cheese in it...for example...grilled cheese, mac and cheese, string cheese...etc... He thinks it's hilarious.

Mowing the Floor

Here are some pictures of Makenna using her Lawn Mower to mow the kitchen and family room floor. She still loves putting on Mark's hats and everytime she sees one now says, "Hat, Hat." I just couldn't get over how cute she looked!

Uncle Neil

One of Matt's best friends, Neil, was also in town this past weekend. Mark also loves playing with him. Of course him and Matthew were playing Guitar Hero, which Mark loves to join in. He had his Steelers Helmet out that he wanted Uncle Neil to wear too. It was so funny. Neil's favorite part was probably hearing Mark sing, Rockin' like a Burger King, intead of Rockin' like a Hurricane. It was great to see him as well!
