Mark had an interesting time at the Easter Egg Hunt. He went up to the first egg, picked it up and tried to open it and get the candy out. We told him that there were still thousands more eggs to get, but he wasn't wanting to do that. We tried to get him excited and then he finally went around to get more. After a while he was done and wanted to open the egg so he was tapping it against the handle of the basket to try and "crack it open." It was hilarious. Matthew got it on video but I couldn't capture it on film.

All dressed up and Nowhere to go
Family Walk
We have been so excited that the weather has been nice this week. We all got a chance to go out yesterday on a family walk around the neighborhood. Mark rode his tractor on the first lap and the second one he rode in the stroller with Makenna. I hope that the nice weather is here to stay, and as much as Mark loves the warmth too, I think he is still trying to adjust to the seasonal items. As you can see, he wasn't quite ready to give up sled riding just yet!
Newest Band Member
As some of you may know our Church has a band that plays at our 11:00 AM contemporary service. One of the members knows Mark loves playing guitar and loves to watch them play every week so he kept asking him when he was going to bring his guitar in and play with them. Well, this particular week we actually remembered and they let him get up on stage with them and play. He got a big kick out of it I guess. (I unfortunately missed it and Marci was able to get some pictures for me.) They were very nice to let him do this and he loved it. He still goes for his guitar and his keyboard first thing everyday when he comes downstairs and loves to sing. Makenna has actually started dancing to his singing. It's quite amusing. I don't know if it will stick, but for right now we have a musician on our hands!

Waving Hi!
Here is a video of Makenna waving Hi. She started doing this a couple weeks ago, but really has begun to master it in the last couple days. She started waving to everyone at Church yesterday and just has a great time with it now. Another skill she decided to master is climbing up the stairs. She was halfway up her Grandma J's stairs today when I caught her! Just another reason why she cannot be left alone!
Happy Days
