Here is a video of Mark driving Madison and Makenna around the yard. As you can see it goes much slower with more people on it. This was the first and last time that 3 will ride on it. After the video ended Madison got off and Mark starting driving before Makenna was on it, she flipped off the back and if you can see how close she was to the concrete stairs it was quite scary. We have now added a seat on the back so this doesn't happen again. Plus we make whoever is driving ask the other person if they are ready before they can go. It has made for a much safer ride!

Here are some pictures and video of Matt and I's vacation to Hawaii. We had a great time and got to see and do lots of fun stuff. Jamie's wedding was gorgeous and we had a blast. Our last day we went on a hike and did some cliff jumping and swinging out into the water. I don't know if it's my fear of heights or the fact that I am 30 now with 2 kids, but I was scared to death. I only did each one once. Matt jumped a bunch of times. It was a fun day and a fun week. Enjoy!

Makenna got this 4Runner for her 3rd birthday from my parents. She absolutely loves it. This is a video of the first time she ever rode it. I will have to put up a more recent video b/c she is a pro at it now. It only took her a couple minutes to get her driving down pat. Her and Mark actually fight over this now and who gets to drive it so there may be one in his birthday future to avoid any other quarrels!

Water Fun

When we watched Madison at our house last month there were some really hot days so the kids had a great time playing in the pool and the crazy sprinkler that we had. They loved to go diving for rings and dive sticks. Makenna loved to wear her goggles even when she wasn't in the pool.

Baby Tyler

Makenna has loved holding her new baby cousin, Tyler. She asks every couple minutes if she can hold him and she is doing a great job with it. She held him for almost a half hour the other day! Mark hasn't been so sure. I think he's waiting for him to get big so he can play catch with him. =) They love him so much already though!

Whenever you would ask Makenna what she wanted for her birthday she would always respond with Barbie Bike and then a whole list of anything else she would see around her in a room. My brother and his girlfriend Alex got Makenna the Barbie bike that she wanted so badly. She was so excited to ride it, but it didn't go as well as expected. She can ride a big wheel, but we think maybe because her legs are more forward and not as much up and down. We are still working on it though so hopefully she will get it soon.

Makenna turned 3 on May 26th! I can hardly believe that my baby is already 3. Time sure is flying by faster than fast. She measured in at her 3 yr old check-up at 37 3/4 inches (65th %) and weighed 35 lbs. (90th %). It's a good thing that she is tall! She is still our little firecracker. She has so much personality and a hundred different facial expressions to show you just how she feels at that moment. Her favorite things to do are read books, do puzzles, and sing and dance. She will pretty much turn anything into a song. She also loves to tell stories. She is very dramatic. As sweet as she can be she is equally fiesty and stubborn. She will never back down no matter what the consequence. You could tell her you will spank her 10 times and she is fine with that, and even if you follow through, she will still not budge and do what is asked if she doesn't want to. We sure love to butt heads (or as she (the manner police) will tell you, "we don't say butt, we say bottom." ;) That brings me to what she wants to be when she grows up... "a police girl." She wants to arrest people that don't do what they are supposed to do. She sure likes to tell people what they do wrong! But really, she amazes us daily. She is too smart for her own good most of the time. But the best way that she likes to spend time with me these days is helping me around the house. She loves to do laundry, clean the kitchen floor, clean the bathrooms, help vaccuum, and help cook dinner. She is my little helper. And no matter what the mood may be at the time...I still look at her and think how beautiful she is...and how much more I love her everyday.

Mark Last Soccer Game

Here is a video of Mark's last soccer game a few weeks ago. He scored a goal in the first seconds of the quarter and for some odd reason I didn't have my camera ready yet. I know...bad mom. So I at least got every other second of the game and he did assist a goal too which you can see in the above video. He finished out the season very well and is getting much better. Next year he will be one of the older kids and I think he will just keep improving from here.
