Cousin Love

Here is a priceless picture of Madison and Makenna from this past weekend. I just thought it was the cutest thing ever. You can already tell they are going to have a great cousin connection!

Happy 80th Birthday Grandma

This past weekend we drove to Williamsport, PA to surprise my Grandma for her 80th Birthday. We had a great time and it was so good to see everyone.

Halloween Jammies

Here are a couple pictures of Mark, Makenna, and Madison from this weekend when they were all in their Halloween PJ's. They all loved cuddling with each other.

Makenna 5 Months!

Makenna turned 5 months old on Friday. We just cannot believe how fast she is growing up! She loves to roll over and is starting to laugh and smile more and more. Her hair is finally starting to fall out. It still has a redish tint to it, but we're not sure if that is going to stay or not when it grows back in. She loves her big brother and is constantly smiling at him. She likes to try to pick up her toys now and put them in her mouth to chew on. Everyday she is proving to be my dream come true...a daughter with red hair and blue eyes, who has a personality just like me. (Who knows if that is going to be a good thing or a bad thing!)

Mark Reading

Here is a video of Mark reading the book "Guess How Much I Love You." I walked in on him reading this and the Velveteen Rabit and thought it was just hilarious. Enjoy!

Pretty in Pink

Here is a picture of Makenna from the other day. This is an outfit that a friend of Judy's got her when she was born and I just thought she looked so pretty in it. There is no question, I love her in Pink!

Mark's new BIG Big Boy Bed

Here are some pictures of Mark's new BIG Big boy bed. He is doing much better sleeping in this as opposed to lately where he didn't want to sleep in his toddler bed. Matthew and I are finally getting some good night sleeps again!

Pumpkin Makenna

Here is Makenna in a pumpkin outfit that my sister got her. Isn't she just the cutest little pumpkin you have ever seen?

Sunday Dress

Here are some pictures of Makenna at Church today. The dress she is wearing is actually the first thing I ever bought when I first became pregnant...with Mark! I guess I had high hopes for a girl! But at least Makenna has been getting some use out of it!

Fall Day

Here are some pictures of Mark playing outside today with some leaves. He had so much fun throwing them up in the air and watching them fall.

T-Shirts

These are pictures of Mark and Makenna wearing T-shirts that my friend Jenn got them out where she lives in the state of Washington. They looked great on them. Thanks Jenn!

Sitting Up!

Makenna sat up for the first time yesterday! She lasted about 3 minutes before she fell over. It was a very exciting moment!

Pumpkin Patch!

Well, Matthew and I decided to take Mark and Makenna to the Pumpkin Patch today instead of yesterday because we thought it would be less crowded on a weekday. Of course we didn't remember that today is Columbus Day and kids in Illinois don't have school. Anyway, after a long day we made it through and Mark had such a good time that we had to take him away kicking and screaming. He loved trying to pick up all of the pumpkins, riding the Moo-Choo train, feeding the goats, and playing in the little farmers area on all of the little John Deere tractors. Next year we will remember to bring our wagon and pull them around to everything!

NYPD Blue

Here is Mark in his NYPD t-shirt we got him while we were in New York visiting Matthew's Uncle Carl. I just thought it was too cute! Can you tell he's sick of me taking pictures of him. I swear he's asking, "Why Mom?"

Makenna's First Food

We started feeding Makenna rice cereal the other night. She doesn't really care for it too much and we have just ended up giving it to her through a bottle most nights after her screaming. I personally think that she just wants to eat faster than what she is getting it through the spoon. (What a Chunky Monkey!) Here are some pictures of the first experience she had with it. Enjoy!

We were trying to take advantage of the nice weather yesterday. We had them outside at Grandma and Grandpa J's house and at Aunt Cebra's house. They both had a great time.
